Explore the different map conditions across the different locations in Arc Raiders and enrich your playing experience with new challenges.
Arc Raiders takes you on an adventure to the topside, where you have to fend against both the environmental dangers as well as other players. At the moment, there are four maps that are accessible by players, where you can engage in PvPvE actions as well as scavenge for resources. To keep things more interesting, at certain periods of the day, some map conditions will be present, which will largely impact the way you interact with the map.
In this article, we will look at all the different map conditions you can expect to encounter in Arc Raiders.
Map Condition Overview in Arc Raiders
Map conditions could either work in your favour or have you ride against the tide. You can choose to either play on any map in Arc Raiders normally or choose the ongoing condition for the map. However, these conditions are only available for a brief time, and then they will reset. There is then no telling when that condition will return to the map.
A winter map condition will soon be available over the next few weeks, as per the roadmap announced by Arc Raiders. There are currently nine map conditions that have timely rotations of accessibility in Arc Raiders.
List of All Map Conditions
Here is a list of all the currently available map conditions in Arc Raiders.
| Map Condition | Description |
|---|---|
| Prospecting Probes | A larger number of Arc Probes will be available for loot across the map. |
| Harvester | A Harvester machine will spawn, which a queen Arc will diligently guard. High-tier loot can be found within the harvester as well as from the queen after taking it down. |
| Uncovered Caches | Increases the spawn rate of Raider caches all across the map. Rigged raider caches could blow up and deplete your health significantly. |
| Husk Graveyard | Husk Graveyards is one of the most common map conditions you will encounter. The number of Husks spawning across the map will increase. This is perfect for those who need to farm ARC-related items. |
| Launch Tower Loot | The top of the Launch Tower is stacked with high-tier loot. Arc defences will be heightened in that area. There will be more raiders crowding in the area. |
| Lush Blooms | Has a direct effect on the natural resources and vegetation on the map. You can expect a larger quantity of fruits, vegetables, and seeds to spawn all across the map. |
| Night Raid | Night Raid is one of the most challenging map conditions in the game, with the Arcs being more aggressive and vigilant. The loot is considerably better. Taking a key to unlock a room is best during this condition. Raiders are less trustworthy, as many are out to hunt for more resources. |
| Electromagnetic Storm | This raid takes place in the night, with an onslaught of random lightning strikes all across the map. These will not only harm you but also the Arcs. Beware of sparks on the ground, indicating where the next dash of lightning will strike |
| Hidden Bunker (Spaceport) | A sealed bunker will be hidden around the outskirts of the map. Lesser active return points for extraction. Raider hatches are disabled. |
