Here is a guide on how you can unlock the Healer career in Where Winds Meet and cure all sorts of ailments in the game.

The Healer is one of the unique careers you can specialize in Where Winds Meet (WWM). This system lets you step into the role of a compassionate physician. Instead of cutting down foes, you get to heal wounds and cure ailments. It’s one of the most important specializations in the game, considering how many players will be heading out to do dangerous tasks. If they get injured or poisoned, they’ll need a healer to help them out.
That said, here is a guide on how you can unlock the healer career in Where Winds Meet.
How To Unlock the Healer Career in Where Winds Meet

To unlock the Healer Career in Where Winds Meet, you first need to reach Level 13. Once you are ready, check your quest log. Following the quest marker, make your way to Mercyheart Town and find Mu Ji’an.
Help Mu Ji’an
You will find Mu Ji’an helping someone who has been poisoned. If you plan to be a healer, offer to help. He will give you a series of tasks with the goal of making a medicine to cure poison. For the first objective, you need to gather herbs called Nightshades. Fortunately, there will be quest markers for you to follow. Collect three Nightshades and give them to Mu Ji’an.
After a dialogue, he will ask you for some Memostatic Powder. If you have been exploring for a while, you might have collected a few already. If not, head to your inventory and click on the herbs you collected. There will be an option to Craft, which will open a new tab where you can Brew Medicine. In there, you will find the option to make the Hemostatic Powder.
Healing and Diagnosis Tutorial
Once you have the item, give it to Mu Ji’an. This is where you get the chance to choose the Healer career in Where Winds Meet. He will ask if you want to help cure the poisoned patient. If you accept, you need to activate Wind Sense and diagnose the patient. To complete this process, press the right button until the process is done.
After the diagnosis, it’s time to treat the patient. You are given 10 turns to remove the poison from the person. You’ll be doing this until the Affliction Severity drops to 0. You can also hover your cursor over the attack icon to preview the illness’s next move. When an illness begins to erupt, use a defensive action to shield yourself from damage. If you don’t, you lose Vital Energy. Keep an eye out for your Vital Energy. If you don’t have enough, you will fail the process.
Each turn provides you with a limited number of Fieryheart. You spend them on healing cards. Check each card carefully, as they have their own Fieryheart cost. You don’t want to run out of it before you finish the operation. This means you can’t always defend to protect your Vital Energy. Sometimes, you may need to take damage to focus on offense and get the job done as soon as possible.
Advancing Your Healer Career

As you make progress with your Healer Career in the Where Winds Meet, you will be able to upgrade your healing cards, also known as manuals. Upgrading your manuals will let you be more efficient in curing ailments. On top of that, you will be able to diagnose more severe injuries or illnesses. This allows you to treat more patients with critical conditions.
Once you complete this questline, you’ll officially unlock the Healer career and can take on new medical missions, curing others just as you did during Mu Ji’an’s tutorial.
