This beginner’s guide for Animal Training is aimed at familiarizing you with the core gameplay and mechanics of the Roblox experience. Animal Training is a gacha racing game where you train different animals and race them against other players. Each race will help you earn Golden Trophies and Strength. These are essentially in-game currencies that’ll help you expand your roster and improve your animal’s speed. Let’s take a look at the most important elements in the game.
A Beginner’s Guide for Animal Training
Gameplay Overview
Animal Training is a relatively new Roblox experience where you’ll begin playing as a baby rabbit. Being an untrained baby, you can run races, but you won’t be the fastest of the animals out there. However, every race you participate in will enable you to earn some Strength and Trophies. Once the race is over, you can use the Trophies to either level up your animal or buy Trails for them, which offer boosts.
The Strength (thunder icon), on the other hand, allows you to unlock better Training machines. Training on these machines ensures you earn Strength quickly. Some machines might even reward you with 5K Strength at once just by using them. However, such machines would also require you to spend a substantial amount of Strength to unlock. Keep in mind that the amount of Strength you have during a race will determine your max speed. So, you’ll want to maximize Strength before heading out for a race. It will enable you to cover a greater distance before the race ends.
Races have a countdown timer once they start. You can only run until that timer runs out. So, it’s critical to maximize your speed since it directly impacts how far you’ll run and how many trophies you’ll earn per race.
Unlocking New Animals
You can unlock new animals by using the Trophies that you earn during races. You’ll see an Animals button on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on it to open the animal shop. From here, you can purchase any animal, given you have enough trophies. Before making a purchase, be sure to check the animal’s Wins, Luck, and Acceleration attributes. Keep in mind that certain animals cost billions of Trophies, which means you might have to wait a considerable period to get them. Other animals are tied to in-game events. So, you can only unlock those by completing the event-related goals or activities. Finally, you can buy some animals using Robux.
Leveling Up Animals
You can also level up and grow your animal by visiting the Upgrade section in the lobby. There, you can purchase food for your animal in exchange for your earned Trophies. When you feed your animal more food, they’ll gain EXP. Eventually, they’ll level up and receive stat improvements. You can see a bar at the bottom of the screen that reflects the animal’s progress to the next level. So, make sure to head to the Upgrade section frequently to better your animals.
Pets
Pets are an additional mechanic in the game. You can head to the Eggs section in the lobby. There, you can spend Trophies to hatch eggs. Each egg has a chance to give you a pet from a wide selection. You’re less likely to unlock rarer pets, especially when hatching the cheaper eggs. When you do get a pet, you can equip them from the Pets menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Equipping a pet results in some boosts to your animal’s stats.
