Here’s how you can complete the Exposure mission in Call of Duty Black Ops 7, infiltrate the facility, find the server room, and more.
Exposure is the introductory mission in the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 campaign. The mission begins with Menendez escalating a global threat, and you play as Mason and the JSOC team, Specter One, to take him down. This guide will walk you through every objective and help you complete the mission in one go. Exposure Mission Objectives
The mission is segmented into multiple phases. Here’s what you can expect.
- Infiltrate the facility
- Find the server room
- Access the quantum drive
- Plant Explosives
- Exfiltrate
- Clear the area
- Eliminate the Threat (Menendez)
Finding Your Way to the Server Room
Your first objective is to reach the server room. Expect heavy enemy fire; you have to survive the corridors while following your HUD. Since the fighting space is narrow, picking up an SMG or a shotgun will come in handy for close-quarters combat.
Accessing the Quantum Drive
Once you reach the server room, your objective is to access the quantum drive.
At first, you have to clear the server room, as it will be full of enemies. Once you do that, you have to go to the upper floor and then solve the puzzle on the terminal. The puzzle is easy to do; you need to align the nodes on the screen to form an unbroken circuit. Once you solve it, be ready for combat, because more enemies will appear.
Plant Explosives and Exfiltrate
After you have collected the quantum drive, the next objective is to place three C4 charges. Below are the locations.
- Charge 1: On the main server stack where you accessed the drive.
- Charge 2: On a power conduit on the lower level.
- Charge 3: On the cooling system control panel near the exit.
After planting the final charge, a timer will begin. You must follow your HUD and exfiltrate the facility while fighting a lot of enemies.
Clear the Area and Eliminate Menendez
Upon exiting the main facility, you’ll enter a new open area where hostiles are holding hostages. Your objective is to eliminate all enemies. Be careful with your shots, as you might end up killing civilians, and watch your step; it’s very easy to miss your jumps and fall. Once the area is clear, Menendez will reveal himself. This is the final phase, and the combat can be tough depending on your difficulty.
Menendez appears as a boss, and his health bar will be displayed on-screen. You will have to clear his afterimages and wait for the special Machete ability, a point-and-target throwable machete. The machete is the main damage dealer, acting like an air strike, but as a large projectile that deals massive damage. Unfortunately, you cannot spam this, as it has a cooldown period during which you have to survive.
