The Suppression Mission in Black Ops 7 is a long mission that takes place mostly in Vorkuta. David and his team are held in a prison and split apart without their weapons. To complete the mission, you must navigate through the hallways of the prison stealthily and regroup with the team to finally get out of the prison. Here’s a full walkthrough of the Suppression Mission in Black Ops 7.
Suppression Mission Walkthrough in Black Ops 7
1. Head To the Canteen
The Mission starts off with you waking up inside Vorkuta, a prison of sorts that Mason’s father, Alex, seems to be the warden of. Head to your right through the direct path. The entire mission can be played on stealth, but it is optional.
There are several vents around the mission areas that you can access by crawling. However, we recommend powering through the inmates, as they aren’t strong enough. You will only have a knife as a weapon until you reach the canteen.
After you open the door at the end of the path, you’ll see a broken part of the building with a few corpses flying in the air. Drop down and head right down the stairs, and fall down the broken path. Look back and find the glowing blue fractures that mark the next path to take.
Go inside the room to your right, where you’ll find a stim shot and armor, and head inside the vent at the end. Crawl inside the vent until you reach the room with the gate button. Interact to open the gate in the front. Head down the hallway, where you can either access the vents to your left or just kill your way past.
Heading forward will take you down a flight of stairs that will bring you to the Canteen.
2. Open the Security Gate
After reaching the canteen, clear out the wave of inmates first. Run down the canteen, and spot the blue fractures on the side of the walls. That’s the main path, but first make sure to grab the shotgun inside the room on your right. The gun is located below the table, past the two yellow lights, and will be highlighted.
After grabbing the shotgun, head down the main path past the Soviet star and open the door at the end. There’s an entirely optional stealth section that you can also commit to, with access to vents above and below, where you’ll access several rooms with a few supplies. However, you can also access the rooms after taking down the inmates.
After opening the door, you’ll spot your next objective, the security gate. There are two locks on the door, both of them accessible to your left. The ladder above leads to one, and the vents below take you to the other. Open the door behind to find your teammate; however, this is only confirmed through dialogue, as there are no active NPCs that you do the mission with, and there seems to be no repercussions if you don’t.
There will be a few enemies near the buttons to the security gate, but also a supply crate, right beside the ladder and the vent, to help you fight against them.
3. Below the Prison
After opening the security gate, you’ll reach a big room with a red door elevator to your right. Grab a drone ability and press the elevator. It’ll trigger a small defend-the-perimeter section, where you’ll have to stick close to the elevator while the Cradle slowly makes its way to you. Defend until the elevator opens, and when it does, head inside.
The elevator should automatically start going down. However, enemies will attack you with ranged acid attacks, so make sure to take them out while you head down. You’ll reach a large tunnel with a supply crate and a flicker ability crate. Grab them and head down the tunnel, where enemies will start attacking.
The path ahead will be locked, and you need a way to open it. The room with the yellow lights to your left will have the button to unlock the gate.
Head inside and lay some bullets on the massive horde of enemies that spawn in. Run straight down and take two rights until you reach another gate that needs to be unlocked. The room to your left, where the cradle enemies come from will lead you to the button. Head up and follow the yellow lights until you reach the button.
Past the gate is a large room, where a lot of enemies will immediately start attacking you. However, you can grab two turrets in the middle to help you mow them down.
Go to the end until you reach another door and press the button. The gate will jam for a few seconds until it opens, meanwhile, you can set up the turrets near you to clear the enemies. After the gate opens, head inside to trigger a cutscene between Specter 1 and Alex Mason.
4. The Cabin
After the cutscene, you’ll reach a new location, found to be David’s childhood home. Head inside and interact with the TV near the tied Alex Mason. After some dialogue, you’ll have to wait while preserving the memories and the Cradle attacks. There are three objectives given to you, taking place at the basement, the docks, and the tree.
While you complete these objectives, it’ll take a bit of time and defending before you can move on. With the last tree objective done, you’ll have to defend yourself from the incoming wave of enemies. However, this is a scripted loss, and will switch to a cutscene after a short time.
5. Getting Out of Prison
After the cutscene ends, the inmates are now on your side and will help you get out of the prison. During the escape, make sure to stick close to the cart. This is completely optional, but you can also free a few more inmates, which will help you against the soldiers.
The inmates are inside the cells to your right and left, and as you move forward, you’ll be able to free more of them.
After reaching the armory, there will be a titan that you need to be wary of. Stock up on supplies and move forward slowly while taking down enemies.
The next objective is to reach the tower. Stick to your right while taking down enemy soldiers, and soon a Guild VTOL will spawn.
Taking down the VTOL is the last objective of the mission. To take down the VTOL, you have to find RPGs located at the top of the smaller huts near the VTOL.
