The Permanent Perks Easter Egg is back in Black Ops 7 Zombies, and will stay for the entirety of the match, even when downed.
Permanent Perks in Black Ops 7 Zombies are a bit of a challenge to unlock, but they will stay for the remainder of the match, even when you are downed. Usually, perks are lost when you are downed in a match, but this new feature rewards players who have taken up the challenges and completed them. Here is how you can get the Permanent Perks Easter Egg in Black Ops 7.
Unlocking the Permanent Perks Easter Egg in Black Ops 7
There are currently two requirements to unlock the Permanent Perks Easter Egg in Black Ops 7. The first is to purchase every perk available in the game, and the second is to complete the T.E.D.D. Tasks that spawn around the map every 4 to 6 rounds.
You can purchase the 12 Perks from the various Perk machines spread throughout the map. You can also find the Der Wunderfizz Machine in the north of Janus Towers Plaza. However, this machine spawns only after Round 20.
After acquiring all the perks, the next step is to find the T.E.D.D. Tasks. These tasks start appearing on the map at random locations after Round 9. After that, they will roughly appear after every 4 rounds. The rewards obtained after completing the tasks have a chance to contain the permanent perk Easter egg. T.E.D.D. Tasks can be spotted by your HUD or a swirling portal in the sky in your game.
Every T.E.D.D. Task costs 500 essence, and every Perk-a-Cola purchased will cost 500 essence more.
The Permanent Perks have a higher chance of spawning as you obtain higher ranks in your T.E.D.D. Tasks. After finishing three to four tasks in-game, you will have a chance to get a legendary Permanent Perk. The maximum rank (Golden) can even spawn two Permanent Perks in the same chest. The Permanent Perk is obtained in the orange box at your base, which opens once you complete a T.E.D.D. Task.
When you acquire a Permanent Perk, you will receive a notification in the top-right panel. Perks are always exclusive and do not repeat, so make sure to fulfill every T.E.D.D. Task after you obtain every other Perk-a-Cola in the game.
Advantages of Obtaining Permanent Perks
Perks in Black Ops 7 are lost when you are downed, but the newer Permanent Perks Easter Egg do not. This gives a massive advantage during the late game and can carry you all the way to the end. However, every time you are downed, a single Permanent Perk will be removed from your list if you do not have any normal perks remaining.
