Learn how to unlock the Necrofluid Gauntlet in Black Ops 7 Zombies by freeing Klaus and completing the Kortifex Box ritual.
The Necrofluid Gauntlet is a powerful Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Zombies that shoots spikes, which embed in zombies and can be recalled to cause AoE damage. With wickedly sharp green claws, the weapon also has a melee attack and can be upgraded with the Pack-a-Punch on Ol’ Tessie. You can unlock the Necrofluid Gauntlet on the Ashes of the Damned Zombies map by completing an elaborate Easter Egg quest.
How To Get the Necrofluid Gauntlet Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Zombies Ashes of the Damned
Activate the Power Pumps
The first step to get the Necrofluid Gauntlet in Black Ops 7 Zombies requires activating the power across three locations in the Ashes of the Damned map. While completing the guided objective to unlock the Pack-a-Punch, you will arrive at the following locations where you have to activate the Power Pumps:
- Vandorn Farm
- Blackwater Lake
- Ashwood
To activate the pumps, shoot the orange bulbs infesting the pumps, then flip the switch inside the barn and cabin in each location. The final pump is located in Ashwood, which can be accessed by taking the zipline. When all three Power Pumps are activated, you will unlock the Pack-a-Punch and can move on to the next step.

Free Klaus
From Ashwood, travel east to the Market Square and find the Ashwood Sheriff’s Office on the left side of the Vulture Aid Perk Machine. Opening the door into the office, you’ll find Klaus offline. To reboot him, find the Stabilizer Chip near the Janus Tower Plaza. From the Plaza, head west toward Blackwater Lake, and Uber Klaus will leap out of a crate on the road.
Defeat Uber Klaus by shooting the blue weak spots on his shoulders, and pick up the Stabilizer Chip that he drops. Head back to the Ashwood Sheriff’s Office and place the Stabilizer Chip into the terminal in front of Klaus’ cell.
When the terminal says “Requires Restart”, throw 4 Stun Grenades through the cell bars to detonate near Klaus. The Stun Grenades should detonate inside the cell, and Klaus will power on. You can obtain Stun Grenades from the Crafting Table for 250 Salvage per grenade.

Complete Scan and Get Aether Barrel
With Klaus powered up, it will become an ally, replacing your Tactical Equipment that you can issue commands to. Take Klaus to Zarya Cosmodrome by traveling on the southeast road from Ashwood. Just beneath the Crafting Table area opposite the Wisp Tea Perk Machine, you will find a locked canister with a console next to it.
Command Klaus to stand in front of the console, and he will type at it, unlocking a green button. Interact with the green button on the console to begin the scan. Stand within the red circle to progress the scan. You cannot leave the circle for about 60 seconds, or the scan’s progress will pause. If any zombies enter the red circle with you, the progress will halt until you dispose of them. Once the scan is complete, pick up the unlocked Aether Barrel.

Deliver Aether Barrel to Power Pumps
You must now place the Aether Barrel in each of the Power Pumps in Ashwood, Blackwater Lake, and Vandorn Farm. Interact with the empty slot in the center of the Power Pump in Ashwood to start filling the barrel. Once it’s filled, drive to Blackwater Lake in Ol’ Tessie. The jump pads will be offline during this segment, and you have one minute and thirty seconds to travel between each Power Pump. Repeat the process to fill the barrel in the Power Pumps of Blackwater Lake and Vandorn Farm.
Enter the Symbols Into the Cellar Box
After extracting the barrel from the Vandorn Farm Power Pump, take it into the Cellar area of the Barn and place it in the Kortifex Box. Now, you have to enter three symbols into the Kortifex Box that correspond with the symbols glowing on the roofs of the Vandorn Farm buildings.
Use the jump pad at Vandorn Farm and, while in the air, note the three glowing red symbols on the roofs of the Vandorn Farm buildings. Enter the same symbols into the three glowing sides of the Kortifex Box in any order by interacting with it. Then, interact with the eye on the side of the box, and you will unlock the Necrofluid Gauntlet.

Complete the Ritual
As soon as you pick up the Necrofluid Gauntlet, a green circle will appear around the Kortifex Box, and dark green orbs will spawn around the Cellar. Stay inside the circle and shoot the orbs with Necrofluid, then recall its spikes to complete the ritual. You now have full access to the Necrofluid Gauntlet Wonder Weapon and can even upgrade it with the Pack-a-Punch.
