Here’s an explanation of the first five Mystic Skills you should get in Where Winds Meet and how to unlock them.

In Where Winds Meet, Mystic Skills or Mystic Arts are skills that change the way you approach the game. These skills are not just useful in combat but have multiple uses throughout the game. Some skills can heal your allies, while others are used to traverse the world of Where Winds Meet.
Moreover, Mystic skills don’t dictate what kind of weapon you will be using in combat. They can be used with different Weapons to create a unique blend of combinations and builds. However, some skills are more important than others and can optimise your gameplay more efficiently, despite your choice of loadout.
In this article, we break down the first five Mystic Skills you should unlock in Where Winds Meet.
First 5 Mystic Skills To Unlock in Where Winds Meet
1. Cloud Steps

This skill allows you to perform a double-jump and slam down on enemies when in mid-air. Cloud Steps is unlocked by clearing the Tiger Fort dungeon beneath General’s Shrine in Qinghe. This Mystic Skill can be used during traversal and in combat against enemies.
2. Tai Chi

Named after a real-life martial art, Tai Chi can throw enemies great distances. You can use this Mystic Skill to hurl enemies off cliffs and or into a wall. Tai Chi is especially effective against Shield-Bearing enemies. Unlock this skill by observing a bear in a mini-game near the Qinghe region of Where Winds Meet.
3. Wind Sense

Wind Sense is similar to Eagle Vision in other games, as it highlights important items and people of interest in Where Winds Meet. You don’t have to complete a side mission or quest to get Wind Sense. This Mystic Art can be unlocked from the Talent Tree itself. Although not useful in combat, it can help you find valuable resources throughout the game.
4. Meridian Touch

A powerful skill that can be used both to deal high damage to the enemies and stun them in combat. This skill gives a chance to immobilise enemies and deal Physical damage to them while breaking their Vital Point. Unlock this Mystic Skill by interacting with Yan Qiren, an NPC near the starting area of the game.
5. Veil of Stillness

Veil of Stillness is an important Mystic Skill for sneaking past enemies and entering restricted areas without raising an alarm. This is one of the first skills players should get, as it is essential for a stealthy approach. Veil of Stillness makes you less detectable by enemies for a short duration.
Like most RPGs, stealth is an important aspect of the game and can change the way you approach a situation. This skill is more useful early in the game when you aren’t as powerful and have a limited toolkit at your disposal. Veil of Stillness will allow you to get an upper hand on unsuspecting enemies using surprise attacks.
