Check Out the Shop and Purchase a Horse.
The easiest way to get a horse in Where Winds Meet is to purchase one from the shop. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can do it.
- From the main game, press the ESC key.
- Click on the Shop button.
- Head to the appearance.
- Click the horse icon.
In here, you can purchase horses or other types of animals as mounts using Pearls, the premium currency of the game. Alternatively, there are unique horses featured in the Draw Shop.
However, it’s a gamble whether you get them or not. These mounts add more customization options that you don’t normally get from regular horses.
Ride a Wild Horse in the Open World
Another way to unlock a mount in Where Winds Meet is to tame wild horses. You will often spot these unowned horses while exploring. If you find one, you can attempt to tame it by playing a minigame.
You need to press a button at the right time until the steed agrees to let you ride it. Also, keep in mind that your weapons or martial arts will have limited combat capabilities while mounting a horse.
Find an NPC Riding a Horse and Steal It From Them.
If you find it difficult to tame horses, you can just steal from other NPCs who are riding them. Early in the game, you will encounter two NPCs riding a horse. This will trigger the quest “A Horse Neighs in the Forest,” where you can steal one of their horses. However, be careful, as the two will attack you once you steal one of their mounts.
Once you’ve got yourself a mount in Where Winds Meet, you can summon it by pressing the number 6 key on your keyboard. If you want to change your mount or horse, you can do so by heading to your Appearance menu.
How To Sell Horses in Where Winds Meet
If you have a wide collection of horses in Where Winds Meet, you can sell some of them to Wen Pu in Qinghe, Sundara Land. Refer to the map above for the exact location. If you have yet to unlock the map for this area, talk to the wayfarer first, who will be marked on your map. However, if you have a surplus of mounts available, you can sell them for extra coins.
