However, all of that effort is worth it because you’ll get a weapon that can help you dodge incoming projectiles, dash forward into an opponent to launch them in the air, and perform powerful combos. This guide dives into where you can get the Inkwell Fan and the exact steps you need to follow to acquire it.
Where To Find the Inkwell Fan in Where Winds Meet
The Inkwell Fan is inside the Inkwell Fan Sanctum, which is a location in the northern region of Qinghe. You will need to get inside the Sanctum, find the Master there, and perform a Skill Theft on him. However, before heading to the location to retrieve the weapon, here are some prerequisites that you should fulfill:
- Make sure you have the Touch of Death Mystic Art. You’ll unlock this organically when completing The Realm Endures side quest. With this Mystic Art, you can take down enemies stealthily.
- You also need to possess at least one Dragon Key to enter the locked Inkwell Fan Sanctum location. Keep in mind that the key will be consumed once you use it on the door to gain access.
- The third one is optional. You should grab the map of the upper region of Qinghe from the Fire Symbol. Doing so doesn’t directly help with the Inkwell Fan retrieval, but it makes navigating this region much easier.
How To Get the Inkwell Fan in Where Winds Meet
Follow these steps to easily acquire the weapon in question:
Enter the Inkwell Fan Sanctum
Once you reach the Inkwell Fan Sanctum in the northern Qinghe region, interact with the Loong Herm Dragon Pillar. Doing so will consume one of your Dragon Keys, and the door to the sanctum will open. Now, move inside until you spot the Militiamen.
Take Out Enemies and Collect the First Chest
Slip past the first couple of Militiamen by hugging the wall to your left. Then, take out the third Militiaman and begin climbing the wall on your right. Take out the two Militiamen guarding the first chest quietly.
Collect the Second and Third Chests
Proceed across the bridge nearby and you’ll spot another climbable rock surface. Climb down to the right using this wall to grab the second chest. Next, take a left and climb up to reach the third chest.
Reach the Fourth Chest’s Location
The fourth chest is inside the hole in the ground near the first Save Point. So, go back to it and drop down to retrieve it.
Eliminate Two More Guards
After grabbing the fourth chest, take the right ladder to go up. From there, cross the bridge and sneakily eliminate a lone guard here. You’ll be able to grab the fifth chest in this area. From here, head back up. As you do, you’ll find two more Militiamen guarding this area. Take down the left one first and get the next one when he looks the other way.
Getting To the Final Chest
Follow the path on the left to enter a room where you’ll find a couple of more guards. Get through them and you’ll be able to retrieve the sixth and final chest.
Performing Skill Theft on the Master
