Follow our detailed guide to learn about all of the ways in which you can get the Heavenquaker Spear in Where Winds Meet.

The Heavenquaker Spear in Where Winds Meet is one of the 12 Martial Arts or weapons you can unlock in the game. It’s a great option to perform sweeping AoE attacks and a powerful thrust that does more damage the longer you charge it. Like many of the other Martial Arts, you don’t have access to this one from the beginning. Instead, you’ll need to unlock it by following a specific process. However, you can unlock the Heavenquaker Spear in more ways than one. To find out where you can acquire it, follow our guide.
Different Ways of Unlocking the Heavenquaker Spear in Where Winds Meet

You can follow either of the two methods to acquire the Heavenquaker Spear:
- Using Skill Theft to gain the art from the Heavenquaker Spear Sanctum’s Master.
- Becoming a part of the Raging Tides Sect and completing their requirements to attain the martial arts in question.
The former route is easier since you just have to stealthily infiltrate a location. The other option involves pledging your allegiance to a specific sect, and it’s inherently tied to in-game progression.
Getting the Heavenquaker Spear in Where Winds Meet Using Skill Theft

If you’re using this avenue to acquire the Heavenquaker Spear, the following are some of the prerequisites:
- You need to have the Touch of Death Mystic Art unlocked. This one enables you to silently take down enemies.
- You need to possess at least one Dragon Key, which will be consumed upon entering the Heavenquaker Spear Sanctum.
With both of these available, you can finally proceed to the northeast side of the map. If you’ve explored the region before, you can head to nearby spots via fast travel. Once you locate the Loong Herm Dragon Pillar, interact with it. Doing so consumes one Dragon Key and opens the door leading into the sanctum.
Eliminate the First Militiaman
Descend into the first chamber inside the sanctum. You’ll find two Militiamen and a chest nearby. For now, ignore the chest and head left. Drop down to the ledge and assassinate the Militiaman here.
Take Out the Next Two Guards
Proceed forward, and you will find two guards ahead. One of them will patrol to the right, giving you the perfect opening to take him down. Then, go after the stationary guard.
Get the First Chest
Now, proceed to the lowest floor. Don’t mind the locked door here for now. Continue downward and finally open a door in front of a ramp to grab the first chest.
Go Up and Grab the Second Chest
Exit the room where the previous chest is and head to the ladder right across from it. Climb up and assassinate the guards one after the other. You’ll find the second chest hidden inside a small alcove on your right, past some crates.
Get the Third Chest
Use the ladder again to go up to the next floor. Eliminate a solo Militiaman here and continue upwards until you reach the chest you first noticed when you entered the sanctum. This is the third chest.
Claim the Fourth Chest
Make a 180 from the previous chest, and you should see the fourth chest in the distance. Grab it.
Open the Locked Gate
Return to the area behind the third chest to find a couple of guards. Take them out and interact with the lever here. This lever unseals the locked door you encountered while looking for the first chest. After turning the lever, return to that locked door in the lower level.
Grabbing the Fifth Chest
Enter the now open door, while taking care to avoid detection by the two Militiamen here. Turn left immediately after entering this chamber to find and grab the fifth chest.
Finding the Sixth Chest
Next, take out both of the guards inside the chamber. You also need to assassinate another guard in the lower level before you can descend. Make sure you stick closely to the left wall as you climb down. Eventually, you’ll reach the sixth chest.
Eliminate All Guards Blocking Your Return Path
To get to the chamber where the Sanctum Master is, you’ll need to move past a room full of moving and static Militiamen. Take down the two moving guards first. Take out the right guard by jumping over some crates. Finally, eliminate the guard watching the stairs.
Perform the Skill Theft
Keep going up until you find a blue glowing circle. Step inside this circle and perform a Skill Theft successfully. Doing so grants you the Heavenquaker Spear martial art.
Getting the Heavenquaker Spear in Where Winds Meet By Joining the Raging Tides Sect
If you feel the previous route is too tricky or difficult, you can bypass it entirely. Instead, you can simply pledge your allegiance to the Raging Tides Sect. Keep completing their specific tasks to eventually reach the point where the Heavenquaker Spear unlocks for you. While this might sound simpler, the process can take longer, especially if you aren’t already allied with this particular Sect.
