These are all the ways for you to get your hands on the Thundercry Blade in Where Wind Meet:

  • Joining the Well of Heaven Sect
  • Picking the blade as your reward from Qi Sheng after delivering your first Oddity
  • Stealing it from the Master in Well of Heaven Martial Camp

The first two options are advisable, considering the last option will require plenty of steps and effort on your behalf. The Well of Heaven Sect will require you to perform certain tasks before the members bestow upon you the blade. The next option is to pick it as a reward from Qi Sheng, and while you can pick up the Thundercry Blade much later in the game, it is best to get it early to get a good feel for the weapon.

Lastly, if you intend to steal it from the Master in the Well of Heaven, you will need a few things to help make stealth much easier. You will require several Mystic Arts, like the Touch of Death, to take out guards on the way. This will all culminate in your character using the Skill Theft to take the weapon.

Thundercry Blade Playstyle

This is a weapon designed for players who are brave enough to tank damage. You will receive shields during a fight, but at the cost of your mobility. This weapon is a good pick if you prefer to have a straight fight rather than bouncing around the field. Enemies will be staggered rather quickly with each hit.
