You will face the Bodhi Sea side quest in Where Winds Meet during a key campaign chain in the Sundara Land area of Qinghe. To start the quest, walk into the marked zone in Sundara Land. The quest starts once you strike the drums scattered in the area. Each drum triggers light resistance from nearby enemies, so keep your healing tools ready.
Once you finish with the drums, you will meet Zhang Yinmang. He gives the next set of instructions and moves the quest forward.
How To Complete Bodhi Sea in Where Winds Meet
You start by heading to the marked zone near Halo Peak in Qinghe. Move through the open area until the quest marker shifts onto the drum spots. Hit each drum placed around the site. Every strike attracts small groups of enemies. Clear them and avoid wasting your healing items during these early skirmishes.
The area feels draining, so pace yourself to conserve stamina and health. Keep a distance from clusters of enemies and save stronger skills for moments when you get surrounded.
Return to Zhang Yinmang
Once you finish the drum task, walk back to Zhang Yinmang. He will confirm your progress and move the quest to its next phase. After the conversation ends, you step into an illusion scene. Next, you will walk a single set path filled with odd visuals and spaced-out threats. You heal only during quiet moments.
Continue walking until the layout narrows. You deal with light hazards, small enemies, and slow environmental pressure. The route takes you to an open space where Ye Wanshan waits.
Defeat Ye Wanshan
Ye Wanshan fuses weapon-based strikes with clear red indicators that you can parry. A good parry shocks him and creates a clean window to drain his Qi bar. Repeat these exchanges and slowly bring him down.
In the next phase, his weapons flare up and his patterns shift into sharper swings. He uses a large yellow slam and throws his glaive twice. Yellow signals mean you cannot block, so roll early and place distance between you and him. Wait for the moment after his heavy swings before stepping in again.
You can heal right after a successful dodge or when he resets from a long lunge. Once Ye Wanshan falls, the illusion collapses. You return to regular space, claim your rewards, and unlock the chance to fight him again through the Campaign Challenge mode. This way, you can grab more loot.
