The Greatworm Homo Butera is one such foe, and you can take this boss down not just once but twice during your playthrough.
You will face this boss at two different points in the game. The first time will be a part of the main story, during the Martira arc, and the second will be during Bardon’s follower quest. How to Beat the Greatworm Homo Butera Boss in Metaphor ReFantazio
The first time you face off against the Greatworm Homo Butera boss will be a lot easier than the second encounter. It is important to remember that you will only fight the boss the second time if you choose to raise your followers’ ranks. There are certain Archetypes that you can use during both battles to give you an advantage. These are:
First Encounter
- Mage
- Seeker
- Knight
During your first encounter with the Greatworm Homo Butera boss, you will need to wear the boss down quickly. For this, you can use the Mage and Seeker Archetypes to deal swift damage to the boss. The best way to damage the enemy is with Wind and Ice attacks. However, Ice and Wind attacks consume a lot of MP, so you need to manage your light and heavy attacks. The Knight Archetype can use its defensive spells to avoid any attacks from the boss. Once you have damaged the boss significantly, it will swallow you and lead to the main dungeon.

The second time you fight the Greatworm Homo Butena in Metaphor ReFantazio can be dealt with similarly to the first encounter. In this fight, you need to make sure that you balance your offense and defense. However, you also need to avoid any attacks from the boss since it will hit harder this time around.
