Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, one of the highly anticipated games of 2024, recently made its global launch. Most modern online games released nowadays support the crossplay feature. It allows players to play with other players across all gaming platforms. However, some games don’t support the feature.
The big question surrounding Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is whether the action-fighting game supports the feature or not. Well, we got the answer for you. Crossplay for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is Difficult, Confirms Producer Jun Furutani
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero confirms that the game does not support the crossplay feature.
In an IGN exclusive, Jun Furutani, the producer of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, addressed several questions about the action-fighting game.
When asked about crossplay, Jun Furutani answered:
“There’s a difficulty that we have to go through to get cross play to work… that’s where we stand right now”
He also responds to the possibility of crossplay in the future with:
“we don’t know yet”
As per the reports by Jun Furutani, it is clear that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero does not have crossplay, and the inclusion of the feature in the game is difficult. In addition, it is not yet confirmed whether the feature will be added in the future or not.
However, the game has many online modes to entertain the players with earth-shattering battles, such as Custom Battle, Battle Mode, Ranked Match, and Tournament Mode. You can test your skills and compete with other players worldwide in these modes. But you can only battle against players on the same console. The game also supports a two-player split screen in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero was released on October 11, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.
