It could take over 50 hours to beat Metaphor ReFantazio, depending on your playstyle. Atlus’ latest J-RPG will keep you hooked until the end, armed with ample side quests and activities to do before the end of the game.
The main problem with us gamers is that we often find ourselves confused about what to do once the main story of a game is completed. Lucky for us, Persona’s soul successor offers plenty of explorations to enjoy post-endgame.
Let us show five things you can do once you have completed the main quests. Note that this list is not ranked. The game doesn’t limit itself to this list. Have a look, enjoy, and also try exploring on your own!
Five Things Before to Do You Uninstall Metaphor ReFantazio
1. Finding and Fighting the Secret Boss
Even if you have assembled the strongest party in the game, you wouldn’t be fighting every other battle you come across. Not all battles will be readily available to you because some bosses in the game are hidden or are positioned behind a quest/bounty wall. One of the surprises that the game has for you is hiding away in the Akademia.
After completing the game, go to More’s hangout and interact with the books on the stands. Keep on reading the books until you are abruptly teleported to a magical place where you fight the mystery dragon. Be prepared though, for he is a formidable foe.
2. Completing Every Challenge in the Coliseum
Popularity rank is important but sometimes you complete a set of challenges for self-satisfaction. When you unlock the coliseum, you might have used it a few times to complete unique battles. We can sometimes forget about things when our focus shifts.
Now that you don’t have a kingdom to save from a tyrant, why not give the Coliseum another go? Completing all the challenges will reward you and give you a nice trophy to add to your collection. So, if you are a trophy hunter, you may want to go ahead with this before uninstalling Metaphor ReFantazio.
3. Start Metaphor ReFantazio Fresh With a Twist
Did you wonder how easily you would beat a certain boss if you had all the power at the beginning of a game? The New Game+ mode lets you do exactly that. Keep all your materialistic progress at the cost of starting the campaign and all the quests again.
You can have fun in the fights again being virtually unbeatable. However, beware because the difficulty is also higher than the normal mode. The game may not be as forgiving as it was before. Nevertheless, it’s a fun mode to try before calling it quits.
4. Seeing Every Outcome
If this was your first play through Metaphor ReFantazio, chances are you don’t know what other endings could have been like. Whether it was desirable or not, see all the different endings and find out which one you like the best!
If you start with a New Game+, try following a different path. For those who don’t wish to complete Metaphor ReFantazio again, load up an older save to live out a different timeline.
5. Completing Everything That Is Left
It is obvious that sometimes we don’t have enough time to complete every side quest, bounty, and rank-up event. Some of the gamers simply wish to see the story through and be done with it. However, part of the fun in an RPG is sticking around and taking things slow.
If you have missed some of the quests, bounties, and rank-up events before the end game; finish them after the story is complete. Achieve the highest level of every Archetype and unlock all Archetypes in a lineage to see the true potential of your party.
Metaphor ReFantazio offers a plethora of exploration options even after the game has ended. Let the J-RPG slow you down and immerse yourself because once the game has hit 100%, there won’t be much left to do.
