Here is all you need to know about LEGO Horizon Adventures’ PC system requirements, to make sure your device is capable of running the game.
Like Helldivers 2, LEGO Horizon Adventures is launching simultaneously on PS5 and PC. Though simpler in art style than the mainline Horizon games, PlayStation’s latest exclusive has hefty PC requirements, surpassing those of Horizon Zero Dawn and matching Horizon Forbidden West.
The PC requirements shouldn’t come as a surprise considering LEGO Horizon Adventures is built using Unreal Engine 5.1. Furthermore, the game also supports ray-traced reflections and global illumination.
Although the game isn’t particularly heavy on CPU, it does seem to be quite demanding in terms of GPU and VRAM. That being said, here’s a rundown of the official PC system requirements for LEGO Horizon Adventures.
What Are LEGO Horizon Adventures PC System Requirements
LEGO Horizon Adventures, much like other more recent Unreal Engine 5 games, is particularly demanding on the GPU. The minimum and recommended CPUs for the game are AMD’s Ryzen 5 2600 and Ryzen 5 3600, respectively. Both these CPUs are low to mid-range chips and are also quite dated. This explains why the game isn’t very heavy on the CPU, which isn’t unnatural for Unreal Engine 5.
However, when it comes to GPU, PlayStation recommends an RTX 3070, which is a higher-end graphics card, with 8 GB of VRAM. Furthermore, on the AMD side of things, the recommended GPU is an RX 6800, which is also a higher-tier card.
That said, the recommended specifications are targeting 1440p and 4k resolutions at unlocked framerates. However, for players who want to play the game at 1080p at 60fps, the minimum requirement is a GTX 1650 equivalent. It should be noted that PlayStation and developer Guerrilla Games highly recommend installing the game on an SSD. However, LEGO Horizon Adventures is fully playable from an HDD as well, albeit with some compromises.
