Sodapoppin uploaded his first YouTube video on June 20, 2012, titled “Sodapoppin Playing Amnesia 2”. Later, he started streaming other games like Dead By Daylight, IRL, God of War, Overwatch, and The Spire. He gained a substantial following over the years and now boasts a total of 8.9M followers on Twitch and 1.1M subscribers on YouTube.
He has one of the biggest channels on Twitch and stands as the 14th most-followed account on the streaming platform. Sodapoppin has a massive record of 314M hours watched and 110,052 peak viewers. His most played games on the channel are World of Warcraft, followed by Just Chatting and IRL. Additionally, he regularly streams on Twitch and has a unique way of entertaining his audience.
Sodapoppin’s Growth Over the Years
The Austin-born streamer is one of the co-founders of One True King, and he joined the organization in July 2022. One True King, also known as OTK, is a content organization that won the “Best Content Organization” award at The Streamer Awards in 2022. Sodapoppin hosted the 2023 OTK Video Games Awards.

In 2021, the massive Twitch earning leaks revealed that Sodapoppin was the 43rd highest-earning streamer on the platform. The streamer earned a whopping $1,461,302 between Aug. 2019 and Sept. 2021. Apart from this, he is also the co-owner of NRG Esports and brings in a sizeable income from the organization.
It is estimated that Sodapoppin earns a good amount from YouTube as well, as he has 1.1 million subscribers on the platform. Though it is difficult to figure out his exact income, 479,808,876 views on his YouTube channel translate to a significant revenue.
