Delta Force returns with a brand-new FPS. Will Xbox One and PS4 players be able to experience it without having to upgrade to the next-gen?
After several years of waiting, Delta Force is finally making a comeback in the gaming industry with Delta Force Hawk Ops. The extraction shooter is coming soon to various platforms. One of the good parts of the game is that it will be free-to-play.
It will also be available on multiple platforms, namely: PC, Android, Xbox, and PlayStation. One of the understandable concerns among the gaming community is whether it will be supported on PS4 and Xbox One.
With the onset of the new generation of consoles, developers and publishers appear to be sidelining the previous generation of consoles. Old consoles becoming obselete is inevitable. So, will you be able to play it on your Xbox One or PS4?
Luckily, the answer is yes! So far, the list of the available platforms for the latest Delta Force game shows that it will be available on both PS4 and Xbox One. It goes without saying that the Xbox Series consoles and PS5 will also support Hawk Ops.
If the developers change their plans last moment, things could turn out differently for the game. As of now, it looks promising for Xbox One and PS4 players.
How Long Before Delta Force Releases on PS4 and Xbox One?
There is no official confirmation from the developers or the publishers regarding a full release for Hawk Ops. Chances are that the game may not see the light of day until early or mid-2025. However, those interested in checking it out can enter Global Open Beta.
Unfortunately, this is not for everyone. Console and Android players won’t be allowed to play in this Global testing for undisclosed reasons. If you have a PC, you can enjoy the free-to-play early access and check out how the game is shaping up to be.
Until the full release date is announced, console players, whether previous or new generation, have to be patient and wait for the full game to come out. If everything goes as per their will, we might also receive early access to consoles and Android.
