Melina And Destiny’s Relationship

Melina started dating popular political streamer Steven Bonnell II, popularly known as Destiny, in 2019 and later got married. The two were pretty vocal about their open relationship but eventually, it became a point of discussion on social media. In 2023, the couple announced that the two will be parting ways and the reason stated by Destiny was that Melina was “obsessed with a toxic/abusive guy.”

Rumors of their divorce started to fly when Melina had to go to Sweden to fix some tax dispute. During this time, Melina met a new group of friends in Sweden which also involved a TikTok content creator named Memetix.

The two grew closer and later she ended up cheating on Destiny with Memetix even though they had been so clear about their open relationship. However, Destiny was not informed about how close the two became until the political streamer questioned her about the same.

Later, on December 6, 2023, Destiny removed Melina from all social media platforms and asked her to move out before he went back to Miami on December 9. Destiny said,

“I’ll have a small convo when I’m back about things, I’m not gonna ‘nuke’ Melina or anything, but the last two months (and two weeks) have been a massive mindf**k for me, watching her become obsessed with a toxic/abusive guy. When I visited Sweden last, he gave Mel an ultimatum to divorce me and then threatened to kill himself. When she didn’t do it (among 20 other abusive/manipulative things he’s done), and endlessly make excuses for him, so I’m out. Anyway, have fun with moobies for three days, good luck, cya on the 9th or 10th.”

Some passive-aggressive Tweets by Melina irked Destiny but one of the leaked messages that triggered him most, read,

“I’m so glad I got out of that, I never want to go back to this horrible person, I realized how much of an abuser he is… I can’t believe he lied and tried to make everybody sympathetic for him.”

This message provoked Destiny and he hired a lawyer to get divorce papers and immediately asked Melina to sign them.
