25-year-old streamer Myth, also known as Ali Kabbani, shocked his viewers when he revealed that YouTube paid him a whopping $4 million for the two years of streaming. The streaming industry is seeing a lot of transition as platforms like Kick and Rumble are trying to pick up prominent streamers while some are making the switch as their contract expires.

Myth’s contract with YouTube ended in early 2024 post which he went back to the streaming platform Twitch. Initially, he was unsure where he wanted to move after his contract ended. However, he said he wanted to continue making “authentic content.” Finally, on December 6, 2024, he announced that he was going back to Twitch to celebrate the return of Fortnite OG.

When he went live to play the game, he revealed the seven-figure amount that YouTube paid him to exclusively stream on the platform. He said,

“For two years, alright f*ck it I am just going to say it and stop being a pu**y! Alright, for two years YouTube gave the boy four million motherf**king dollars!”

Myth also said,

“I was streaming contractually on YouTube. It was a business decision. YouTube came to me, and they said, ‘Hey, we want to offer you a deal.’ And chat, the thing about it is, it was one of those deals that you simply cannot turn down in life.”

Myth is an American YouTuber and Twitch streamer who gained immense popularity playing Fortnite. He is known to be one of the best builders in the community. He joined Twitch on May 14, 2016, and his account has only seen a rise ever since. By streaming Fortnite since its release, Myth became one of the most followed streamers on Twitch.

In 2022, Ali took to Twitter and YouTube to announce that he no longer will be streaming on Twitch and that he was moving to YouTube for streaming. The day after making the announcement he broadcasted his first YouTube livestream and explained to his fans why he left Twitch. However, he did not reveal the seven-figure amount then.
