Surviving the alien-infested GATE research facility is not an easy task unless you have the right equipment and gear. In the co-op survival crafting title, you need to craft essential items to manage your base. As you progress deep and enter the late-game regions, your basic armor no longer guarantees your survival. To upgrade to advanced armor, you need a lot of Leather Scraps. Fortunately, acquiring the resource is fairly straightforward. Here is how you can acquire Leather Scraps and use them in Abiotic Factor.

How To Obtain Leather Scraps in Abiotic Factor
In Abiotic Factor, you can acquire Leather Scraps in two different ways: by salvaging several resources or by slaying a specific creature.
Build a Repair and Salvage Station and place it near a power source. Interact with the station and salvage the following items to acquire Leather Scraps:
- Briefcase: Found in locations like Office Sector Level Two, the Train portal world, Cascade Labs Level Two and Three.
- Radio Pack: Obtained by killing the Captains at the Manufacturing West and Cascade Laboratories.
- Rat Suit: Acquired by killing Lab Rats.
- Rat Pack: Obtained by killing Lab Rats using a Net Launcher and blunt weapons.
Additionally, you can also acquire Leather Scraps by harvesting the Sow Peccary carcass. The Anteverse 2 creature roams in the Wildlife Pens in level two of Cascade Laboratories.
How To Use Leather Scraps in Abiotic Factor
Leather Scrap is one of the most useful materials you can find in the GATE research facility. These random bits of leather are primarily used in clothing and armor. You can use Leather Scraps to craft different high-tier hoods, helmets, and suits. Apart from clothing, it is also used to craft useful tools like a Pickaxe and a Jetpack.
