In Abiotic Factor, one of the biggest threats comes from the robotic enemies that are patrolling different areas. In most cases, it’s better to avoid any confrontation with the Security Bots. An alternative option is to navigate around them. But they drop one of the rarest crafting components, the Security Bot CPU.
What Are Security Bot CPUs?
Security Bot CPUs are a rare but essential crafting material for advanced gear. This also helps you unlock restricted areas and upgrade your tech. Security Bot CPUs can be difficult to obtain, but with the correct gear, you can get one by defeating a Security Bot. These enemies are difficult to fight, as they are incredibly tanky and can do heavy damage. They will easily take you down in a few hits if you aren’t prepared.
Security Bots’ Location in Abiotic Factor
As mentioned previously, to get Security Bot CPUs, you must defeat and dismantle Security Bots. They patrol different areas of the facility from 9 PM to 6 AM. During this hour, Security Bots can be found roaming in the Office Sector and Manufacturing West areas. One of the easiest locations to find a Security Bot is the Office’s Cafeteria. You can find one patrolling the zone at night.
Security Bots are capable of dealing heavy DPS if you aren’t careful. They are equipped with both melee and ranged attacks that can stun and electrify you. Although these enemies are tough, you can take them out by using Shock Traps and a Makeshift Crossbow from a distance.
