Keypad Hacker is one of the important devices in the Abiotic Factor, allowing you to hack and unlock doors with high-security keypads.
In Abiotic Factor, you take on the role of a GATE scientist and investigate the mysteries behind the catastrophic containment breach in an underground facility. While exploring the research center, you will frequently encounter locked doors protected by security keypads. To bypass them, you need a special device called the Keypad Hacker. It allows you to hack high-security keypads, letting you pass through the GATE security doors.
This guide explains how to unlock and craft the Keypad Hacker in Abiotic Factor, enabling you to access restricted areas effectively.

How To Get Keypad Hacker in Abiotic Factor
You can unlock the Keypad Hacker recipe by talking to Alice Mayfield, an NPC located in the Office Sector Level 3. Talking to Grayson at Office Sector Level 2 tasks you with retrieving a power cell to activate a forklift. Then, repair a control panel by finding an anvil and crafting an Energy Brick.
Fixing the broken panel leads you to the elevator, which takes you to Level 3. Take the elevator and follow the corridor on Level 3 to find Silo 3. Enter the control room near Silo 3 to find Alice Mayfield inside. Interacting with her unlocks the Keypad Hacker recipe along with its ingredients.
Additionally, the Keypad Hacker recipe can be unlocked by collecting its components, such as obtaining the Security Bot CPU by defeating the Security Robots.

How To Craft a Keypad Hacker in Abiotic Factor
Once unlocked, you can craft the Keypad Hacker at the Crafting Bench using the following materials:
- Controller x1
- LCD Screen x1
- Infrared Emitter x1
A Keypad Hacker is not only used to unlock security doors but can also be used to craft a Keypad Hacker (Tier 2). However, the basic Keypad Hacker only allows you to bypass security doors with Clearance Level 1 keypads. For more advanced and higher-level clearance doors, you will need a higher-tier Keypad Hacker. You can acquire high-tier Keypad Hackers by exploring higher-level areas or via crafting.
