Abyssus is a brand new online co-op PvE game that’s creating quite a buzz. It features heart-racing combat and plenty of exploration. But even so, players might miss out on many of the secrets in the game. For instance, did you know about the Aquatic or Fish Weapon that’s hidden right in the game’s lobby area?
Since finding the weapon isn’t part of any quest, it’s very easy to completely miss it on your first playthrough. Even when you find where it is, unlocking it requires you to complete multiple runs. In this guide, we’ll explain in detail how you can get the Aquatic Weapon in Abyssus.
How To Unlock the Aquatic Weapon in Abyssus
The Aquatic Weapon is one of the most difficult to unlock in the game, simply because there isn’t any way to get it on your first or even your second run. Instead, you will need to play through at least three runs if you intend to grab the weapon in question. Let’s take a look at the complete unlock process.
Defeating the Three Elite Bosses
The first order of business is to face down all three Elite bosses that spawn during Act 4 Stage 1. The tricky bit is that only one of these bosses will spawn during each run. So, to defeat all three of them, you’ll have to play at least three runs, or even more. We suggest keeping track of the bosses that you’ve already defeated in earlier runs so that you don’t repeat a battle. You can also use a modifier to force all three Elite bosses to appear during the same run. However, by default, this doesn’t happen.

Getting to the Secret Pond
Once you have defeated all three mini bosses, head to the Lobby area of the game. There, behind the waterfall, is a secret path that leads to a pond surrounded by three busts belonging to a snake, a skeleton, and a frog. If you’ve defeated all of the bosses, all three busts will spew water. A Fish Deity will appear out of the pond, and you’ll have to defeat it too. After killing the deity, you can finally claim the secret Aquatic Weapon in Abyssus. Once you unlock this weapon, it will become available to you for all future runs.
