AI Limit, the upcoming anime-themed souls-like from developer Sense Games, finally has a confirmed release date. While the game was announced earlier last year, it didn’t have a confirmed release date until recently. The game is quite similar to titles like Code Vein, mixing elements of souls-like gameplay with an anime-themed sci-fi setting.

However, unlike Code Vein, the protagonist in AI Limit isn’t a custom character. Instead, it’s a character called Arrisa, a Blader (aka an alien life form with the appearance of a human), cursed with immortality. The premise of AI Limit is more close to Dark Souls than Code Vein, albeit with some obvious differences.

The gameplay, however, is closer to that of Bloodborne, with parrying attacks being the primary focus. With Sense Games recently revealing the official release date for the game, pre-orders for AI Limit also went live on all platforms. Here’s everything you need to know about AI Limit’s pre-orders, editions, and more.

AI Limit Release Date and Platforms

AI limit is scheduled to be released on March 27, 2025. The game is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam). Furthermore, the game is currently available to pre-order on both platforms, alongside a dedicated pre-order bonus. It should be noted that there’s no early access incentive for pre-ordering AI Limit.

Regardless of which version of the game you pre-order, you will be able to play the game on its scheduled release date, i.e., March 27, 2025. The pre-order bonus for AI Limit includes access to two in-game cosmetics – the Maid Outfit and Hairband. Do note that the pre-order bonus is included with both the Standard and the Deluxe Editions of the game.

Additionally, as of writing this article, developer Sense Games, as well as the publisher CE-Asia, have not revealed any information regarding a potential Xbox Series X|S version of the game.

AI Limit is offered in two different editions – Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Editions, priced at $35, comes with the base game and the pre-order bonus cosmetics. Whereas the Deluxe Edition is priced at $45 and comes with a few additional in-game exclusives, on top of the Standard Edition content.

Furthermore, the Deluxe Edition also comes with the Digital Artbook. Given the game’s unique art style (for a souls-like title) and enemy designs, an Artbook is something many players will find appealing, especially when offered at just $10 additional over the Standard Edition. That said, here’s a breakdown of the game’s different editions:

Standard Edition ($34.99)

  • Base game
  • Pre-order bonus

Deluxe Edition ($44.99)

  • Base game
  • Pre-order bonus
  • White Sparrow’s Coat and Mask (armor set)
  • Opossums Sais (weapon)
  • Mud Ball
  • Pure Crystal
  • Digital Artbook
