AC fans rejoice! Because new details regarding the Assassin’s Creed Shadows pre-order bonuses just came out. So let’s take a look.
After the unfortunate leak that happened a few weeks ago, Ubisoft is engaged in damage control, and because of that, some great news came to light regarding Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
It is a good time to be an Assassin’s Creed fan despite the rough couple of events that occurred around the game because Ubisoft has finally revealed a new plan and structure for the Pre-Order Bonuses. From revamped editions to DLC and armour sets, we will cover everything in this article.
All Pre-Order Bonuses in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
It is safe to say that fans were quite displeased with the Pre-Order Bonuses of AC Shadows when Ubisoft first announced it. The game’s different editions faced heavy criticism because of their expensive three-tier structure. And Ubisoft’s decision to implement a season pass in a single-player RPG such as Shadows was not received well by the community either.
But things have changed since then. Following the backlash from the AC fans, the developers announced last year that they would be revamping all of the Pre-Order Bonuses, including the price and the content. They also revealed that they are departing from the season pass model as well. Additionally, Ubisoft also said that anyone who pre-ordered the game before this announcement will receive the first expansion for free.
Revamped Editions
Now, let’s talk about the new changes. Fans will be happy to know that the coveted Sekiryu Gear Set is now a pre-order bonus in the new Digital Deluxe Edition. If you only want Naoe’s armor set, then you can get it if you pre-order the game from Amazon. But if you want Yasuke’s Sekiryu set instead, then you will have to pre-order the game from Walmart.
However, the surprises do not end there. We also have reports that Target is offering the official Steel Bookcase, which is a part of the collector’s edition, in their own version of the pre-order bonus. Alternatively, you can also go for the Best Buy version, which comes with the Lithograph Set.
Additionally, the best part is that every single version we mentioned so far is only $69.99 and will come with the Clans of Awaji Expansion pack along with one bonus quest. So, it is a great opportunity to get some Deluxe Items at the price of the base game. But we must also tell you that all of the new editions are only available in the US, and fans from the other countries will have to wait for further announcements.
