Marvel Rivals Version 20250430 Patch Notes are here with new Balance Changes to the beloved roster. Check out the nerfs and buffs.
Marvel Rivals Patch Notes version 20250430 is here. As the version number suggests, the new balance updates will apply on 30th April 2025. This is not a major update. So, there won’t be any server downtime for the same. The primary theme for these Patch Notes was the “support strike” experienced by Marvel Rivals players in the past few days. All Strategists in the game were facing a lot of dive meta team compositions that were taking away the fun from their games. Along with some buffs to certain Strategists, the developers also tweaked a few Vanguards, Duelists, and a Team-Up ability.
Marvel Rivals Season 2 April Balance Changes
Since this is a small update, the Balance Changes aren’t many. The devs only focused on the characters who needed it the most. For example, Vanguards like Captain America and Groot were controlling the point a bit too much. So, they had to be nerfed a bit. However, Strategists have received subtle buffs.

| Captain America | Reduce base health from 650 to 600 |
| Doctor Strange | Decrease the energy cost to unleash the Eye of Agamotto (Ultimate Ability) from 3400 to 3100 |
| Groot | Reduce the health of Ironwood Wall from 700 to 600 |
| Spider-Man | Decrease the damage range of Amazing Combo from a 5m radius to a 4m radius |
| Winter Soldier | Adjust the Tainted Voltage ability to have 2 charge levels, while keeping the cooldown time unchanged |
| Adam Warlock | Add a new effect to Quantum Magic. When a critical hit lands on an enemy, reduce the cooldown time of Avatar Life Stream by 1s |
| Cloak & Dagger | As Cloak, increase the damage of the Darkforce Cloak from 75/s to 80/s; As Dagger, increase the damage of the Lightforce Dagger on hit from 15 to 18 |
| Luna Snow | Adjust the Damage Falloff of Light & Dark Ice from 60% at 40m to 75% |
| Mantis | Increase the hit damage of Life Energy Blast from 50 to 55 |
| Stars Aligned (Captain America and Winter Soldier Team-up Ability) | Upon leaping to a teammate, Stellar Impact will provide 50 Bonus Health to allies within range |
