After waking up from your eternal slumber as a vampire, you must build your castle again. To do that, you will require the Castle Heart in V Rising. It is the main component that powers your entire castle, including every workbench and other constructs. Moreover, the higher your Castle Heart level is, the more area you can take to build stuff. In other words, if you wish to build a grand castle, you have to start by focusing on your Castle Heart.

Levels of Castle Heart in V Rising
After you start the game, you have to find a territorial land to build your base on. There are many spots on the map that you can choose based on your personal preference. We recommend selecting a place that is close to the main resources or traders. After you choose your place, you can build a Level 1 Castle Heart. It allows you to build structures such as floors and walls. Once all your walls are covered, you get a roof over you.

Castle Heart Placement in V Rising
Once you place the initial structure, you can move and place your Castle Heart anywhere on the ground floor – you cannot place your Castle Heart on higher floors. Moreover, the different levels of your Castle Heart ensure you can gather the resources of different tiers and then let you expand. Lastly, you need blood essence to power Castle Hearts. Each level increases how much blood essence you can store in the heart.
