Louis is the primary antagonist in Metaphor ReFantazio and also one of the toughest boss fights in the entire game. Throughout your fantastical journey, Louis will appear several times and ask you various questions. Initially, you need to feign allegiance to Louis and get close to him, though your final goal would be to trump him.
You will need to know the correct answers to Louis’s questions if you want to progress quickly. You can choose from different answers, but they do not really change the outcome of the game. However, in one particular scenario, you will be able to change the ending of the game based on your choice.

How to Get the True Ending in Metaphor ReFantazio
If you select “I want to stop you.” as the response to Louis’s last question in Metaphor ReFantazio, you will get the true ending of the game. However, if you select the other option, “You’re absolutely right!”, you will face a dire ending instead.
“You’re absolutely right!” is not the correct answer and will lead to a bad ending: Fantasy is Ruined. If you select this option, your followers will also be confused, but they will ultimately join you despite their reluctance.
