A sword can’t be used in place of a needle. Similarly, combat lives cannot solve every problem in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. Some hurdles require you to create certain items, like food, weapons, or furniture.

These will require you to master the crafting lives, which are present within the game. Here is an overview of all the crafting classes in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.

The crafting category has more classes than its other two counterparts. There are four classes for combat and gathering each. However, there are six lives for the crafting branch of life. These are:

  • Alchemist
  • Cook
  • Tailor
  • Carpenter
  • Blacksmith
  • Artist

Alchemist

Tool: Flask

The Alchemist is a great supporter class in Fantasy Life i. This class doesn’t have any use in direct combat, however, it can make your life easier indirectly. You can use this life to make potions and accessories.

These can be used in the midst of combat to provide a plethora of buffs. A good Alchemist can turn ordinary items into something useful.

Cook

Tool: Frying Pan

The function of this life should be quite evident from its name. This class is quite similar to the alchemist life, in the sense that both craft buff-inducing items. While the Alchemist role focuses on making potions, a Cook makes food (obviously).

You can make different kinds of food with this life, including food that buffs or heals your character. However, you should know that this class does rely on other lives such as Angler or Farmer to obtain materials for cooking.

Tailor

Tool: Needle

This life is quite useful for a number of other classes. This is because you can stitch together various clothes and armor pieces using the Tailor Life. This becomes especially useful if you use like Magician or Hunter.

Otherwise, perhaps you want to be the next fashion icon. Either way, Tailor will be your crafting class of choice for many reasons in Fantasy Life i.

Carpenter

Tool: Saw

True to its name, this class operates around wood. The Carpenter can turn wood into various pieces of furniture or tools. These are primarily used to assist other classes or to simply liven up your home.

Naturally, since you are using a lot of wood with this class, the Carpenter will be reliant on the Woodcutter life.

Blacksmith

Tool: Hammer

The blacksmithing role is often performed by NPCs in other games. However, in Fantasy Life i, you will be your blacksmith. This class is crucial for forging weapons and armor for most of the other life paths.

However, it’s not self-sustaining, like most other classes. You will need to rely on the Miner class since you need a lot of ores to craft your desired items.

Artist

Tool: Brush

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time introduced two new classes or lives. One of these is the Artist. You will need this life to make paintings, sculptures, and other pieces of interior decor.

You can liven up your home, or the surrounding areas, with this class. Those were all the Crafting lives in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
