Find out all the dive heroes in Marvel Rivals as we explain what characteristics and playstyles determine this genre of characters.
Marvel Rivals saw a very successful inaugural Season 0 with hundreds of thousands of concurrent players. With the ongoing Season 1, many players are still joining the foray, and the community is only increasing in size with every passing second. However, not all players are accustomed to the hero-shooter genre and might be caught off-guard by some of the common terms.
Hero-shooter games have a “dive” character classification, which might confuse new players. In this article, we will list all the dive heroes that are there in Marvel Rivals. We will also explain what this term means, and what playstyle determines the dive class.
Marvel Rivals: All Dive Heroes
As of Season 1, here are all the dive heroes that currently exist in Marvel Rivals:
- Vanguards:
- Captain America
- Hulk
- Venom
- Thor
- Duelists:
- Black Panther
- Iron Fist
- Magik
- Mister Fantastic
- Spider-Man
- Star-Lord
- Wolverine
- Strategists:
- Luna Snow
- Jeff
- Rocket Raccoon
Classifying Strategists in the dive category is a tricky job since it entirely depends on how the Vanguards and Duelists in the team are playing. That said, the ones mentioned have a playstyle that focuses on mobility, allowing them to also dive with the team as necessary.

What Are Dive Heroes in Marvel Rivals?
Dive is a playstyle where you fight using quick movements while focusing on a particular target, mostly using melee attacks to finish them. In normal team fights, there is generally a faceoff where all characters engage. In a dive style, one of the sides dictates the match by selecting a target and then focusing on it specifically.
Mostly, dive heroes are fighters who like to get up close and personal. These comprise both melee heroes and those who lack a decent range. Dive compositions are generally very annoying and demand counterplays. If you do not counter a dive team, chances are you will be completely cornered by the enemy and you will lose the match.
