With the new Drills update (Version 5.0) of Dig, we got introduced to a new tool, drill machines. These automatic tools let players dig and collect items even while they are AFK (away from keyboard). These machines are a huge time-saver if you want to farm, but you can’t force yourself to sit for hours looking for rare items and end up getting nothing special. You can now buy drills from the Drill & Co. Shop located in Fox Town, then place up to three at a time from your Equipment Bag.

How To Get and Use Drills in Dig
- Buy drills at the Drill & Co Shop in Fox Town (between the Bank and the Mechanic).
- After purchase, drills appear in the Drills section of your Equipment Bag.
- Place up to three drills at once.
- Once the timer ends, claim your items and collect an extra cash bonus depending on the drill used.
- Drills despawn after items are claimed or sold.
