The Evanuris Altars in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, tucked away in corners of Thedas, provides a permanent +100 health boost.
As you roam the lands of Thedas, conquering enemies and completing quests, you are rewarded with new armor, weapons, abilities, and much more. Progression is a staple of any RPG, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard excels at giving you that feeling and letting you direct the course of how you progress. Health is a deciding factor in combat; however, you cannot upgrade your health stats through a traditional skill tree. Instead, you have to seek out Evanuris Altars scattered across the map, with each Altar granting a permanent +100 health boost.
In this guide, we shall go over all the Evanuris Altar locations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Evanuris Altar Locations
| Area | Altar Location |
| Crossroads | At the northeastern end of the Crossroads, at the gate of a fort ruins. |
| Crossroads | Under the main plaza of Elvhenan’s Haven in the Crossroads. Head towards the northern end of the plaza to the floor below to find the Altar. |
| Crossroads | Go beyond the Wolf statue in Elvhenan’s Haven to reach stone statues on a cliff. Rotate the statues to form a bridge. Cross the bridge to reach the Altar. |
| Crossroads | Past the Gate of the Lost Ages in the Crossroads. Solve the red crystal puzzle to gain access to the Altar. |
| Arlathan Forest | Found at the Riverside Ruins as part of Bellara’s Spirits of the Dalish companion quest. |
| Arlathan Forest | In the middle of the Tainted Woods ruins in the northeast end of the forest. |
| Arlathan Forest | Near a tower northeast to the Ancient Aqueduct beacon. |
| Arlathan Forest | Found in the Shadowy Grove as part of Bellara’s Spirits of the Dalish companion quest. |
| Dock Town | Take the path on the left to the Aula’s Lookout Beacon to find the Altar towards the end. |
| Hossberg Wetlands | Southwest of the Inner Courtyard Beacon (progress ahead in the story to unlock) |
| Hossberg Wetlands | At the Gaspon Manor balcony past the yard (can be found as part of the ‘An Academic Interest’ quest) |
| Rivain Coast | North of the Clifftops Beacon. Take the path on the left and parkour past the gaps to reach the Altar. |
| Rivain Coast | East of the Tideflats Beacon. Take the passageway on the right of the Beacon and take the first left. The Altar is tucked away in the corner. |
| Rivain Coast | West of the Cave Floor Beacon. Stick to the left and work your way West. Go up the stairs and follow the path straight to reach the Altar. |
