Gathering Lives in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
Combat involves fighting. Meanwhile, Crafting involves making items. You will need to use Gathering lives to obtain various materials for some Crafting lives.
You can select four different lives from this category:
- Angler
- Miner
- Woodcutter
- Farmer
Angler
Tool: Fishing Rod
The purpose of this life is clear from the tool you use. Catching fish is the only purpose of this life. However be careful not to underestimate this task. Catching fish can be difficult if you do not follow the proper steps.
This life goes hand-in-hand with the Cook class. You can use the Cook life to turn the fish into exquisite dishes fit for a king.
Miner
Tool: Pickaxe
Which survival simulation game would be complete without a bit of mining? Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is the same in this regard, as you can use this class to obtain a bunch of different ores.
Furthermore, the Blacksmith can then use these materials to forge powerful armors and weapons. Almost all the Gathering classes are required to make Crafting lives function properly in Fantasy Life i.

Woodcutter
Tool: Axe
Let no tree stand in your way with this class. The Woodcutter can cut down any trees in the game. This is one of the essential lives in the game, since you get wood from trees.
You will need Wood for many items in the game. The most prominent example of this would be the Carpenter life requiring wood to create lots of furniture.
Farmer
This is one of two new lives introduced in Fantasy Life i. The other one was the Artist class. Your role as a farmer is to plant and harvest crops. Eventually, you will even have to harvest boss vegetables.
Like the Angler, this class is also necessary for the Cook life to progress. These were all the Gathering lives in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
