Weapon System Overview in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl
Weapons in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl are used to defend yourself against foes. Protect yourself from aggressive encounters by choosing the right Weapon. You can either find the Weapons through loot staches or on the dead body of any player. Enemies are scattered in the zone and you may get unexpected encounters. In order to adapt to the current gameplay situation, equip the attachments with your Weapons.
Attachments play a vital role and are scattered throughout the Zone or you can buy them from Weapon merchants. Attach a scope on your Weapon to take out enemies from afar who are coming to your location. Selecting the type of attachment depends on you according to your playstyle or gameplay scenario. Use different ammo types to counter different enemies. Some enemies may be wearing Armor and require a lot of damage to defeat, so using a certain ammo type is crucial here. Ensure which Guns the ammo fit before jumping into the battle as ammos are only compatible with certain Guns.
Types of Weapons in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl offers 8 different types of Weapons each one serving their own purpose. The handgun is a type of Weapon that doesn’t deal much damage but it’s better to choose a handgun rather than reloading. Whenever you’re out of ammo on your primary Weapon, the handgun can save you from a lot of trouble and help you out of a pinch. Submachine Guns have a faster fire rate but lack stopping power similar to assault rifles. However, the SMGs depend on gear and decrease the TTK for this Weapon archetype.
Use the Shotgun to kill any enemy with a single shot but this Weapon type lacks range. Rifles have sheer stopping power and are the best Weapon type due to the damage they deal. Some Weapons are hybrids between Assault Rifles and SMGs making them the best Weapon archetype in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl.
Sniper Rifles are best for long-range engagements but are ineffective at close range and lack a high rate of fire. If you’re looking to kill an enemy from a distance then the best bet for you is Sniper Rifles. Machine Guns in the game are assault rifles but with larger magazine and higher fire rate. These Weapons require a long time to reload but deal higher damage. Launchers are the best Weapon when trying to clear out enemies from the battlefield in an instant.
