Everything you need to know about all the new monsters that have been revealed for Monster Hunter Wilds, so far.

Monster Hunter Wilds is home to some of the most fascinating monsters in the entire history of the franchise. With every new entry in the Monster Hunter series, Capcom usually adds a handful of new monsters. Monster Hunter World had the likes of Vaal Hazak, Fatalis, Rajang, and Alatreon. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Rise had the likes of Malzeno, Almudron, Magnamalo, and Tetranadon. However, with the upcoming new mainline Monster Hunter title, Capcom has gone above and beyond in adding new monsters to the game.

From the highly marketed Doshaguma and Rey Dau to the newly revealed Rompopolo, Ajarakan, Uth Duna, and the flagship monster, Arkveld, there are plenty of new creatures that are debuting with MH Wilds. While Capcom is still keeping a lot under wraps, there’s still plenty of information available on the new and returning monsters coming to the latest title. Here’s everything you need to know about the monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds.

From the iconic Rathalos to the long-forgotten “pink gorilla” Congalala. Here’s a list of all the monsters that Capcom has confirmed so far, for Monster Hunter Wilds:

• Chatacabra
• Doshaguma
• Ceratonoth
• Dalthydon
• Lala Barina
• Quematrice
• Rey Dau
• Rompopolo
• Uth Duna

Returning Monsters

• Congalala
• Rathalos
• Rathian
• Yian-Kut-Ku
• Gypceros
• Gravios

In a recent gameplay trailer, Capcom also revealed a secret monster – the Black Flame. However, Capcom hasn’t revealed its official name yet; as such, we kept it out of this list. Once we get more information on the Black Flame and its actual in-game nomenclature, we will be updating this list with that entry. It should be noted that this is an “in-progress” list. We will be updating the list of monsters as Capcom reveals more information close to MH Wilds’ release.

Furthermore, if MH World and Rise are any indication, Capcom might have plans to add an Iceborne or Sunbreak-like expansion to MH Wilds, and with an expansion, there’s bound to be a host of new monsters that will be introduced to the game.
