Learn more about all the new weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5, and how you can get your hands on them in-game.

Call of Duty is adding four new weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5. With the official Season 5 roadmap released, we finally have intel on all the new content coming to the games, including weapons. This time around, Treyarch has ensured variety. This is well reflected in the types of weapons joining the games. Players will be able to get their hands on a new LMG, Assault Rifle, Melee weapon, and a Pistol.
You can unlock all of them for free via the Battle Pass or through in-game events. So, without any further ado, let’s take a closer look at all the new weapons coming to Black Ops 6 and Warzone in Season 5, and how you can unlock them.
Exploring All the New Weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5
The four new weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5 are as follows:
PML 5.56

The PML 5.56 is an LMG and will be available in the game as soon as Season 5 goes live. It has a couple of things going for it. The LMG boasts a fast fire rate and is capable of dealing high damage. But it isn’t without cons. To ensure that it doesn’t end up becoming overpowered, developers have reduced its handling as well as its mobility stats. This makes the weapon quite bulky. Hence, aggressive plays with this LMG will be quite excruciating. Nevertheless, it’ll still fare well in mid and long-range combat.
How to unlock: The PML 5.56 can be unlocked for free via Page 3 of the Season 5 Battle Pass.
ABR A1

The ABR A1 is an Assault Rifle, and it too will be available at launch. Unlike the PML 5.56, the ABR A1 is a burst-fire rifle that shoots in bursts of three. It is the jack of all trades, excelling in almost all aspects. However, it might end up becoming a high-skill weapon as it shoots in bursts. Fortunately, though, if you level up the weapon, you can turn it into a full-auto behemoth. According to the official blog, you can unlock a Fire Mod that turns the ABR A1 into a full-auto Assault Rifle. As for the intended use, it is meant for mid-range combat with decent mobility and handling stats as a bonus.
How to unlock: The ABR A1 can be unlocked for free via Page 6 of the Season 5 Battle Pass.
Boxing Gloves

The Boxing Gloves are a Melee weapon and will join the games in-season. Equipping it will allow you to finish off your enemies in style, thanks to the movesets that include jabs and uppercuts. However, it is limited by range and will require multiple hits before a foe takes the knee. Fortunately, they allow you to land punches in quick succession and also boast a long lunging distance. These make it a lethal pick, especially on maps like Stakeout.
How to unlock: The Boxing Gloves can be unlocked for free by completing challenges in the ’90s Action Heroes in-game event later in the season.
Gravemark .357 Revolver

Finally, we have the Gravemark .357 Revolver. It’s the first Pistol of its kind for Black Ops 6. The firearm is a single-action revolver with high damage output and range. Needless to say, if you land your shots in the right place, it can take out opponents faster than some SMGs in the games, especially at long ranges. That said, it isn’t perfect. To compensate for the high firepower, it unfortunately comes with a lower ammo count, and reloads can be quite slow as well due to its single-action mechanism. The Gravemark .357 Revolver joins the games in Season 5 Reloaded.
How to unlock: The Gravemark .357 Revolver can be unlocked for free by completing challenges in an in-game event later in Season 5 Reloaded.
That covers all the new weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5. According to the official Call of Duty blog, the Season 5 update is scheduled to go live on August 7, 2025, at 9 am PT.
