While finding basic materials like copper isn’t too tough, getting your hands on rarer ores like mithril means exploring some pretty dangerous places in this Roblox RPG.

Getting Started With Mining
First things first, you’ll need a pickaxe to mine any ore. Head over to the Blacksmith’s shop to buy your first Copper Pickaxe. This basic tool works fine for common ores, but you’ll want to upgrade it as you progress. Different ores need different pickaxe levels, so make sure you’ve got the right tool before heading out.
Where To Find Each Ore
- Copper and Iron – These are perfect for beginners. You can find both in the Slime Cave, which is just north of the Mandrake Field. Need more iron? Check out the small caves near the Wayshrine as they usually have extra deposits.
- Silver – Look for this ore in two places: the Greatwood Forest Cave and Spider Cave. To get there, go to the swamp shore in Greatwood Forest and search the rocks for cave entrances.
- Platinum – You’ll need to visit the Bahlgar area for platinum ore. Just keep in mind that the monsters here are tougher than in the earlier areas.
Late Game Ore Hunting
- Mithril – This is the top-tier ore in Rune Slayer, and it’s not easy to get. You’ll find it deep in the Balgaron Chasm, but watch out; this place is packed with super strong enemies. Don’t go hunting for mithril until you’ve got good gear and combat experience.
- Gold – Here’s something different: you can’t mine gold directly. Instead, you might get some while mining platinum or mithril. Think of it as a lucky bonus for tackling the harder mining spots.
Quick Mining Tips
Always make sure your pickaxe is good enough for the ore you want to mine. It’s also smart to clear out any nearby monsters before you start mining, especially in tough areas like Balgaron Chasm. And if you’re hoping to find gold, just focus on mining lots of platinum and mithril, and you’ll get some eventually!
