There are a lot of different activities and events in the game to make the adventure more enjoyable. Sea of Thieves has many PvE events that offer different challenges and rewards. PvE Events in Sea of Thieves
There are 7 PvE events in Sea of Thieves; each has its difficulty and rewards. Some events let the player raid a fort and fight skeletons, while some offer a fight between ships. Here are all the PvE events players can enjoy in Sea of Thieves:
1) Skeleton Fort

Skeleton Fort is a World Event indicated by a large skull-shaped cloud. During this event, any fortress-type island becomes a Skeleton Fort. Players can go to the fort and start fighting multiple waves of skeletons. After clearing the waves, players must defeat the boss to get the key to Fortress Vault. The vault has good rewards for the winning crew.
2) Fort of Fortune

Fort of Fortune is just Skeleton Fort, but slightly more difficult. This event is also marked with a skull-shaped cloud. The skull has two glaring eyes with a nose and three stripes on the forehead. There are more waves of skeletons and a harder boss in the Fort of Fortune. However, this event provides the players with better rewards than Skeleton Fort.
3) Skeleton Fleet

This is a naval combat World Event and is spotted with the help of a ship-like cloud. The cloud has the shape of a galleon ship. Skeleton Fleet starts when the player’s ship comes into its radius. Players have to defeat the waves of skeleton ships using cannons and other tools. Additionally, players can board the enemy’s ship to stop them from repairing. After some time, a ship with a skeleton captain on board will appear. Defeat the captain to claim victory in Skeleton Fort and win rare loot.
4) Ghost Fleet

Quite like Skeleton Fleet, Ghost Fleet is a naval combat, but it uses a green tornado as its cloud signal. It looks like a normal event where players fight skeleton ships, but everything changes when the Burning Blade ship appears. This event is a bit harder than Skeleton Fleet, but as usual, the higher the difficulty, the higher the rewards.
5) Ashen Winds

Ashen Winds is a World Event and can be found using a red tornado cloud signal. Players have to fight an Ashen Skeleton Lord in this event. This fight is very challenging and engaging, and the lord drops very rare loot. Additionally, players can win an Ashen Winds Skull that can be sold for money or used as a flamethrower in Sea of Thieves.
6) Davy Jones Fleet

A raid event started by voting for Lords of the Sea at Castaway’s Camp. Players have to defeat ghost ships, siren statues, and ocean crawlers. After defeating all enemies, players have to fight the Flying Dutchman with Captain Jack Sparrow and sink the ship to claim victory in this exciting event.
7) Fort of the Damned

Fort of the Damned is a raid event where players collect flames of six different colors and one ritual skull. The event is indicated by a red skull cloud hovering over the fort. Players have to fight 14 waves of enemies to spawn the final boss, Ghost of Graymarrow. After defeating the boss, players get the Fort of the Damned key, which is used to open the vault of the fort.
8) Legend of the Veil

This raid event is an Athena’s Fortune Voyage available exclusively to Pirate Legends. This event is a three-chapter voyage where players meet Pirate Lord and help him with Veil Stones. This event is denoted by a dark tornado-type cloud signal.
9) Skeleton Ship

This is an emergent encounter that can occur at any time. The Skeleton Ship spawns randomly on the seas, and players can identify it with green and blue lanterns. This Ship attacks the player’s ship as soon as it comes within range. The enemies use cursed cannonballs that can inflict good damage. Sink the Ship to loot the rewards and get a chance to win rare loot.
10) Megalodon

It is a huge shark lurking around ships and can attack the player’s ship anytime. There are five types of Megalodon in Sea of Thieves; each behaves differently. The Megalodon only attacks in open seas and cuts the chase when a ship is near an island. Players can eliminate this big shark with the help of cannonballs and get the Megalodon meat.
11) Kraken

Some players say that Kraken attacks the ships with the most treasure. The Kraken is a very big creature, and water turns black around it. This creature has many big tentacles that grab the ship, and players have to kill these tentacles to defeat the Kraken. Each tentacle drops Kraken meat and other valuable items. A sloop has to defeat 2-3 tentacles, a brigantine needs to defeat 5-6, and a galleon 7-8 tentacles.
