Ships are the only transport in Sea of Thieves, as the whole map is essentially water. Every pirate loves his ship and treats it like another home. Sea of Thieves has three different kinds of ships, each with their attributes and limits. However, the main feature that complements a ship is speed. A ship should be fast enough to sail across the seas quickly. Additionally, good movement control and storage are also important for a ship.

In this article, we have ranked all types of ships available in Sea of Thieves. The ships below are ranked based on their maneuverability and performances during combat.

Sloop is the smallest ship in Sea of Thieves. A sloop can accommodate only two players at a time. Moreover, this ship only has one set of sails, i.e., it has only one-speed stage. The Ship cannot hold many resources because of its size. The only plus point this ship has is the ability to move fast when sailing against the wind. This ship can come in handy when sailing small distances with fewer resources.

Due to three sets of sails, this ship has three speed stages which makes it the fastest ship in the game. Although Galleon has everything it needs to be number one, it requires meticulous teamwork to operate efficiently. Additionally, it is the slowest when going against the wind.
