Discover the location and training levels of every Sneak trainer in Oblivion Remastered and how to complete the ‘Sneak Training’ quest.

Sneak is a versatile skill in Oblivion Remastered, useful for launching devastating stealth attacks, bypassing difficult engagements, and robbing NPCs blind. The skill increases naturally when you sneak around without being detected in the presence of an entity.
However, to level up the skill even faster for a stealth-focused build and to access higher skill ranks’ perks, you will want to find Sneak trainers. These sneaky experts can increase the skill by up to five points at every player level. So, make sure to pay them a visit every time you level up to consistently boost Sneak.

Sneak Training Quest in Oblivion Remastered
To receive training beyond Sneak level 70, begin the ‘Sneak Training’ quest by talking to Mirabelle Monet or Othrelos. They will reveal the location of Marana Rian and endorse you for training under the Imperial agent. Marana Rian sleeps at her house in the Imperial City Temple District till midday and roams around the Arboretum and Waterfront for the rest of the day.
When you ask her about training, Marana arrogantly challenges you to steal a special coin from her to be worthy of her tutelage. The special coin remains on her person at all times, and you must pickpocket her to complete the quest. With a Sneak level of at least 70, this shouldn’t be difficult to pull off. It’s recommended to save your game before attempting the theft, since she may report your pickpocketing attempt to the guards if she catches you.
To prevent this from happening, you can raise your disposition with Marana through bribery or the persuasion minigame. Once you have stolen the special coin from her inventory, the mission is complete, and you can train under Marana Rian whenever she is awake.
