Season 2.5 of Marvel Rivals looks to heavily revamp the Team-up Abilities, as new ones get added, some get removed, and some receive changes.

Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 is almost round the corner, and it will finally bring Ultron as the latest strategist to the game. Other than new skins and the first flying strategist, Season 2.5 also heavily revamps the Team-up Abilities. While some existing abilities get some adjustments, some popular ones like the Ammo Overload for The Punisher and Rocket Raccoon are leaving the game forever.
On the other hand, Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 will also introduce several new Team-up Abilities. In this article, we will explore all the Team-up Ability changes that are set to arrive in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5.
New Team-up Abilities in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5

Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 will see the addition of six new Team-up Abilities:
- Chilling Assault:
- As the Team-Up Anchor, Luna Snow gains a 15% increase in healing effects.
- Hawkeye unlocks a new Ice Arrow ability through his Team-Up with Luna Snow.
- Jeff-nado:
- Storm gains the Shark Surge ability through her Team-Up with Jeff the Land Shark.
- Jeff gains the It’s Jeff-nado! ability through his Team-Up with Storm.
- Operation Microchip:
- As the Team-Up Anchor, The Punisher gains a maximum health increase of 25 and a 5% boost in damage output.
- Black Widow unlocks a new Pulse Rifle ability through her Team-Up with The Punisher.
- Rocket Network:
- As the Team-Up Anchor, Rocket Raccoon gains a 5% increase in healing effects. When the Team-Up is active, Rocket’s B.R.B. is upgraded to a Web Beacon.
- Peni Parker unlocks a new Armored Spider-Nest ability through her Team-Up with Rocket Raccoon.
- Stark Protocol:
- As the Team-Up Anchor, Iron Man gains a 5% boost in damage output.
- Ultron gains a new Nano-Ray ability from his Team-Up with Iron Man.
- Symbiote Shenanigans:
- As the Team-Up Anchor, Venom gains a maximum health increase of 150.
- Jeff gains the Healing Tendrils ability through his Team-Up with Venom.
Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Team-up Ability Adjustments

The following four Team-up Abilities will receive significant change in the upcoming Season 2.5:
- Atlas Bond:
- Decrease the Atlas Bond Team-Up Anchor damage boost proportion from 15% to 10%.
- Fantastic Four:
- We’re slightly reducing the usage coverage of this Team-Up.
- Increase cooldown of Storm Siblings, Wedded Harmony, and Cooperative Comrades from 20s to 25s.
- Gamma Charge:
- A minor reduction to the usage coverage of this Team-Up.
- Increase Gamma Monstro cooldown from 15s to 20s.
- Mental Projection:
- We’ve reduced the damage capability of this Team-Up.
- Reduce the proportion of damage caused by Magnetic Resonance and Soul Resurgence illusions from 30% to 20%.
All Team-up Abilities That Will Be Removed Permanently in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5

Five existing Team-up Abilities will permanently leave Marvel Rivals starting Season 2.5:
- Allied Agents:
- The Team-Up Anchor effect for Hawkeye has been removed, along with the Allied Agents Team-Up Ability.
- Black Widow loses the Supersensory Hunt ability she once had through her Team-Up with Hawkeye.
- Ammo Overload:
- The Team-Up Anchor effect for Rocket Raccoon has been removed, along with the Ammo Overload Team-Up Ability.
- The Punisher loses the Infinite Punishment ability he once had through his Team-Up with Rocket Raccoon.
- Chilling Charisma:
- The Team-Up Anchor effect for Luna Snow has been removed, along with the Chilling Charisma Team-Up Ability.
- Jeff the Land Shark loses the Frozen Spitball ability from his Team-Up with Luna Snow.
- Gamma Charge:
- Iron Man loses the Gamma Overdrive ability previously gained from his Team-Up with Hulk.
- Symbiote Bond:
- The Team-Up Anchor effect for Venom has been removed, along with the Symbiote Bond Team-Up Ability.
- Spider-Man loses the Suit Expulsion ability previously gained from his Team-Up with Venom.
- Peni Parker loses the Armor Expulsion ability previously gained from her Team-Up with Venom.
