Andrew Tate, a controversial internet personality, has declared that he will run in the upcoming British general elections.
Andrew Tate has announced his intention of entering politics. He plans to run for the position of Prime Minister in the United Kingdom’s upcoming general elections. Andrew, on January 5, 2025, announced on X that he is in the “next elections”. The controversial personality claimed that he is the “most Googled man in the world” and that he is “100% serious” about the candidacy. This comes after popular YouTuber Fidias Panayiotou became a member of the European Parliament.

Fidias Panayiotou, known online as Fidias, is a YouTuber and politician from Cyprus. He initially gained attention for his vlogs and pranks on his YouTube channel. In 2024, the YouTuber, despite having no prior political experience, secured a seat as a Member of the European Parliament for Cyprus.
Andrew Tate has similar plans for his candidacy; he cited Fidias’s example of getting elected while announcing his candidacy. Andrew was briefly the most-Googled man in 2021 and 2022. Notably, Andrew Tate had recently made headlines for a $3.5 million tax fraud case in the UK.
Previously, Andrew had voiced his opinions on the situations in the UK, like the knife crime and illegal immigration problems. However, they were considered harmful and extreme.
In similar X posts on January 6, 2025, Andrew discussed his plans if he was elected for the role. The internet personality boldly claimed that illegal immigration will fall to zero. He also stated that British men died for British soil, seemingly referencing illegal immigration:
