Gilgamesh is a powerful, exclusive unit based on the character from Fate/Stay Night. He could only be unlocked during a special quest event using a unique item called the Inactive Key of Babylon. But that key isn’t obtainable anymore, which means the questline is no longer accessible either.
Can You Still Get Gilgamesh in Anime Vanguards Roblox
No, Gilgamesh is currently unobtainable in the game. The key item needed to unlock him, “the Inactive Key of Babylon,” can no longer be dropped from stages, and there’s no known way to farm it at the moment.

How Players Used To Unlock Gilgamesh
Here’s a quick breakdown of how players originally got Gilgamesh:
- First, they had to defeat the Kiro boss in either Underground Church Stage 4 or Golden Castle Legend Stage 2. This was used to drop the Inactive Key of Babylon.
- Once you had the key, you had to offer 50,000 Gold to activate the next part of the quest.
- Then, you needed to defeat Heracles in Underground Church Act 2.
- After that, they fight Lilia in Underground Church Act 5 and Archer in Golden Castle Act 1.
- Finally, players had to face Gilgamesh himself in Golden Castle Act 3. Beating him would “awaken” the key and unlock Gilgamesh as a unit.
How To Awaken Gilgamesh (King of Heroes)
Once you had regular Gilgamesh, you could awaken him into his upgraded version, Gilgamesh (King of Heroes). To do that, you needed 5,000 kills with Gilgamesh, along with 1x Active Key of Babylon, 40x Green Essence, 15x Yellow Essence, 15x Pink Essence, 10x Red Essence, 5x Blue Essence, 2x Rainbow Essence, and 15,000x Gold. This made him one of the stronger and rarer units in the game.
Gilgamesh is not obtainable anymore, and unless the developers bring back the event or add a new method to get the key, he’ll remain exclusive to older players. If you’re a collector, keep an eye out for updates — he might just return someday.
