Locate the toxic plants and make a safe extraction to complete the ‘A New Type of Plant’ quest in Arc Raiders.
One of the many quests in Arc Raiders is ‘A New Type of Plant’. Unlike many others, this is one of the more peaceful types, where all you need to do is collect plants and take them back to the quest giver. The quest is specific to a certain map and location, and can only be completed once you safely escape along with the item.
In this article, we will look at how to complete the ‘A New Type of Plant’ quest in Arc Raiders.
A New Type of Plant Quest Overview in Arc Raiders
You will receive this quest from the trader, Lance. While the quest is straightforward, the only challenging part is that you will need to make sure you extract along with the items you collect. Here is a list of the objectives as part of this quest.
- Search for the new plant near the Baron Husk in the Old Battleground.
- Deliver the possibly toxic plants to Lance.

How To Complete A New Type of Plant Quest
This quest is specific to the Dam Battlegrounds map in Arc Raiders. Once you are deployed to this place, you will need to visit the ‘Old Battleground’ location, which is right between the ‘Pale apartments’ and the ‘South Swamp Outpost. On the map, beside the Old Battleground text, you will find an image of Baron Husk. Visit that exact place.
Beware of any flying Arcs in the area. Once you reach the Baron, look around the main body, and you will see red plants that you can interact with. Collect as many as you see and store them in your safe pocket. This is to make sure you keep the plants when you are knocked out. Once you extract and reach Speranza, visit Lance and complete the mission.
