In this Arc Raiders guide, we shall go over all of Scrappy’s upgrade materials and their locations on the various maps.
Resource collection is an integral part of the Arc Raiders experience, and Scrappy remains your best buddy when it comes to this task. Scrappy the rooster is a small animal that passively collects loot for you, allowing you to claim loot with minimal effort. However, as you reach into the mid-to-late game, you’ll want more out of Scrappy, and for that, you need to upgrade him.
Upgrading Scrappy requires you to find upgrade materials. Much like anything that’s important in Arc Raiders, you’ll only find the Scrappy upgrade materials out in the world. This is a daunting task, but our guide is here to make it easier for you.

How To Upgrade Scrappy in Arc Raiders
You can upgrade Scrappy in Arc Raiders by following the steps below:
- Load into the Arc Raiders main menu.
- Click on the Workshop tab at the top of your screen. This is the second tab from the left.
- Once you’re in the Workshop, you’ll see Scrappy. Look to the bottom of your screen, and you’ll see several slots. The leftmost slot is for Scrappy.
- Click on Scrappy, and you’ll then have the option to either claim resources or train Scrappy.
- Click on the Train button to upgrade Scrappy.
