How To Defeat the Queen in Arc Raiders
The Queen can be encountered near the Harvester. The Harvester is a giant machine that houses high-tier blueprints and loot inside. It’s a boss event that has high rewards for success. Currently, you can encounter the Queen Harvester event in Dam Battleground and Acerra Spaceport.
The Queen’s moves consist of homing rockets, lasers, and melee attacks with its legs. If any raiders are near or under it, it will aggressively attack with its legs, stomping and swinging at them. Other attacks are mostly ranged, with her homing rockets and lasers that will burn raiders if hit. So, taking cover and maintaining a large distance to shoot her is a standard strategy in the community.
Recommended Weapons and Equipment
Before you start the event, you need to stock up on a lot of Heavy ammo and Explosive grenades. Anything lower-tier than Heavy ammo weapons will deal minimal damage to the Queen. Ferro and Bettina are the standard meta currently, subject to change during later patches. However, explosives can also deal a lot of damage, with fuse grenades and snap flash grenades being the most common to use against its heavy armor.
Tips and Tricks for the Queen in Arc Raiders
Fighting the Queen will require your party to be fully prepared during the event. Usually, other raiders will also help you take the Queen down until it falls.
The Queen has two weaknesses. Shooting down her leg armor will reveal yellow joints that are weak to gunfire and grenades. The second one lies on top of its head. This weak spot only reveals itself when it shoots the laser attack, and when it is staggered. You can only see the head weakness with enough elevation, so make sure to look for the high ground during the start of the fight. Shooting down any of its two weaknesses will help take the Queen down fast.
Getting a fair distance away and looking for a cover with a roof is the first thing you should do in the fight. Dodging and weaving the attacks won’t do, so make sure to find decent cover.
Look for supply drops near the Harvester, as they will be crucial for ammo supplies and more. However, be wary of other raiders who might fight you for the box.
Finally, after the Queen is destroyed, be ready to fight other Raiders for the loot. Dash straight towards the Harvester and loot as many blueprints into your safe pockets. So, even if you fall to gunfire, you’ll get the good blueprints and loot back to Speranza.
