Here’s how you get Magnetic Accelerators in Arc Raiders from looting buildings, crates, completing a quest, and crafting.

Magnetic Accelerators are epic-tier refined materials used to craft high-quality weapons such as Tempest, Equalizer, and Hullcracker. You also require three of these accelerators for Phase 4 of the Expedition Project. The guide below walks you through the best ways to get Magnetic Accelerators and craft them.

Arc Raiders: Where to Find Magnetic Accelerators

These are a rare drop found in breachable crates and containers within high-tier loot zones. While they can appear anywhere in the Exodus zone, there are two locations where you can farm them.
Best Farming Spot: Marano Station (Buried City)

Marano Station in the Buried City is your stop; here, you can look for a breachable room on the train platform. This small room contains two breachable crates and two Raider containers, with a very high chance of dropping epic materials, including Magnetic Accelerators, Exodus Modules, and Complex Gun parts. Be warned, there will be a lot of heat in this area, as it’s pretty close to an exfil point, but once you understand how this game works, farming is pretty easy over here.
Alternate Farming Spot: Rocket Assembly (Spaceport)

The Rocket Assembly Building at Spaceport was a farming meta. However, with recent updates, the Magnetic Accelerator and other epic item spawning rates have been reduced significantly within the red lockers. But you have an option, so try your luck out.
Complete the “Celeste’s Journals” Quest

After you complete Celeste’s Journals quest, you will receive the following items:
- Magnetic Accelerator – x1
- Heavy Gun Parts – x3
- Exodus Modules – x1
Crafting Magnetic Accelerators
If you are having a hard time finding Magnetic Accelerators, then you can craft them at your Refiner using:
- 2x Advanced Mechanical Components
- 2x ARC Motion Core
If you’re unfamiliar with the crafting system, our guide on How To Craft Weapons provides a full breakdown of the Workshop.
Fine-Tuning Your Farming Runs
Since this is a PVP game and others will follow an identical approach, it’s better to prioritize your survival. You can do this by using a free loadout and then heading out to the farm. If you die, it won’t hurt that much, since you are not risking your main gear.
This approach is very popular in the online ARPG Albion Online, where a similar approach is used for farming Black Zones. That said, if you’re new to the game, reading the hyperlinked guide will help you survive better.
