Wasp Drivers are the most common materials in Arc Raiders, obtained from it’s named source, Wasps. Here’s how you can get it.
Wasp Drivers in Arc Raiders are one of the most rare materials in the game, dropped when you loot Wasps (random chance). You can recycle them to obtain ARC Alloys, a common currency for trade in Speranza, or salvage for electrical components. You can find Wasp Drivers around any map, as Wasps are a common enemy in the game. Here’s a brief guide on how you get them fast.
How To Get Wasp Drivers in Arc Raiders?
To farm Wasp Drivers, you need to take down and loot Wasps, a common ARC machine. Wasps are flying ARCs that shoot you down with light machine guns. Their weakness is the two rotors, which can be shot to take them down almost instantly. The best maps to farm Wasp Drivers are Dam Battlegrounds, Acerra Spaceport, and Buried City.
However, the night versions of these maps provide more drivers than their default versions. Night maps take place on a cycle basis, and special Raids called “Night Raids” take place. These Raids provide better loot, but harder enemies in the cover of night.
If the Night Raids are too risky, you can also take part in the default map raids and loot as many Wasps as you can. Wasp Drivers have a rare chance of dropping from Wasps, but can also be found in chests and Field Crates. Raids in Arc Raiders are boss battles where multiple players come together to take down a giant ARC machine. During these raids, Wasps also spawn, meaning you can loot as many Wasp Drivers as you want.
Currently, there are no farming spots for Wasps on the map, as the drivers are luck-based loot. However, searching around high resource areas is always a good place to start, as more ARCs generally spawn around these areas.
Wasp Drivers, outside their other uses, can be recycled into Arc Alloys or salvaged into Electrical Components. However, you’ll need them a lot during the early game for upgrading your traders and buildings.
Uses of Wasp Drivers
Wasp Drivers in Arc Raiders are mainly used to upgrade your Workshop from level 1 to level 2 (Gunsmith). To upgrade your workshop, you’ll need 8x Wasp Drivers, 5x Mechanical Components, and 3x Rusted Tools. You can also sell Wasp Drivers for 1000 Raider Tokens.
